During August 2008 Loan South Mortgage welcomed Lisa Slocum to its team of outstanding mortgage professionals. Slocum, a native of Atlanta, has a successful track record in the mortgage business exceeding 15 years. Having parents in the real estate business allowed her to begin her work in the mortgage banking industry at an early age. Slocum worked for a real estate attorney while attending college. After graduating from the University of Georgia, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Slocum launched her career in the mortgage industry. During this time, her outstanding performance as an office manager would land her numerous top producer awards from the Mortgage Bankers of Georgia.

Slocum's innovative approach to the home mortgage business, and her special attention and empathy towards each client, contribute to her skillful success as a loan officer. She has outstanding qualities and unique talent that make the loan process easy for everyone involved. Slocum currently resides with her husband and their twins Sam and Sarah in Athens, Georgia.
